Marvel Studios has assembled its "Fantastic Four" cast.
In a Valentine's Day card-themed announcement on Instagram, Marvel announced that Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn are The Fantastic Four. Pascal will play Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic, Kirby will suit up as Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman, Moss-Bachrach is set for Ben Grimm aka the Thing and Quinn is slated to appear on screen as Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch.
Pascal is known for his work in "Game of Thrones" as Oberyn Martell and "The Last of Us" as Joel Miller, while Kirby plays Princess Margaret in "The Crown," Quinn stars as Eddie Munson in "Stranger Things" and Moss-Bachrach's roles include Richard "Richie" Jerimovich in "The Bear."
"The Fantastic Four" are best known as Marvel's "first family" due to their significance to fans as the first characters created for Marvel Comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961.

Marvel Studios' "The Fantastic Four" arrives in theaters on July 25, 2025, and is directed by "WandaVision" director Matt Shakman.
The studio has kept the film's story and plot under wraps, but it could stay true to the comic books which follows a group of four astronauts who become superheroes after cosmic radiation exposure during a trip to outer space.
Will "The Fantastic Four" be set in the 1960s?
Marvel's retro announcement photo fueled fan speculation that the film could be set in the 1960s, the decade the Fantastic Four debuted in the comics. In the picture, the Thing appears to be holding a real Life magazine from December 1963.
Marvel has not confirmed the movie's setting but previously took a similar approach when introducing Captain America, a character who debuted in the 1940s, in a 1940s period piece: "Captain America: The First Avenger." Shakman also previously directed episodes of "WandaVision" meant to evoke sitcoms from 1950s and 1960s.
The respective "Fantastic Four" and "Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer" films were released previously by 20th Century Fox in 2005 and 2007 starring Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis. A 2015 reboot attempt by Fox featured Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Jamie Bell and Kate Mara.
Marvel Studios' take on the Fantastic Four has been highly anticipated ever since Disney gained the rights to use the characters in its Marvel Cinematic Universe after acquiring Fox in 2019.
In 2022's "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," John Krasinski portrayed an alternate universe version of Mr. Fantastic after many fans suggested him for the role. But Wednesday's cast announcement suggested this was a one-off appearance rather than a tease of more to come.
