A little league baseball game was full of major league emotion when a young slugger was surprised at the plate by his dad.
Staff Sergeant Steve Batista hadn't seen his 9-year-old son Ryan in 10 months while on deployment in Afghanistan. But after secretly returning, he and his wife Jillian conspired to give Ryan a huge surprise during his little league baseball game in Passaic County, New Jersey.

When Ryan came up to bat, there was a sudden pitching change, and out walked his father onto the mound. The youngster didn't seem to realize who he was facing to start with.
